Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice April. It was my birthday on the 12th! I turned 27! Wild!

As the title says, May completely snuck up on me, which is hilarious considering I’m most active on tumblr nowadays and tumblr has been chock full of ITS GONNA BE MAY gifs. I had a devlog in progress for this month, but it ended up being too rambly and off topic, so I deleted it. Maybe it will resurface someday, but for now it’s dead. :^)

Sooooo here’s some things that happened during April:

I updated the menu! The old one was driving me crazy, so I decided to take some time to draw a new one. If I make another new one before the rest of the game is done, do not let me.

I got a bunch of sprites done! I had to redo them to make them work for layeredimages, which also gave me the opportunity to update the art.  I might update this post later with some previews, itchio is fighting me imagewise right now.

Here’s the final update: I am… almost done with the writing! I am fully just, writing the endings for the game. There’s about eight of them, unless something happens and I add or subtract some. I don’t know. I haven’t written them yet. But there should be about eight of them. Some sort of writing spirit possessed me this month, so I hit my word count on like, the 21st??? And then I kept writing after that. Current word count is 58,149. I’m hoping to finish writing in the next month or two, but we’ll see!
